About the Artist
Yana Stajno is an expressionist painter based in her studio at the Chocolate Factory in north London. Her contemporary art is popular and sold both nationally and internationally. Yana is very committed to producing a wide range of subjects that include landscapes, figures and still lives. She also does commissioned work that includes pet animals, houses, gardens, individuals and couples. Most recently she has been inspired by Angels and has produced a series of large oil paintings on the subject.
“I use fluid, gestural marks and complex colours. My ideal is to be able to capture moments in paint and I am often inspired by everyday life and ordinary objects – things that might otherwise not be noticed.
I love having exhibitions, including in some unusual places. So far we have hung in a church, a rather dark pub and an ice cream parlour. There’s nothing quite like licking an ice-cream whilst being entertained by an expressionist painter.
There are two main exhibitions contemporary art every year: Crouch End Open Studios in May and the Open Studios at the Chocolate Factory in Wood Green, north London. Most paintings are available as archival quality, signed, limited edition archival prints that are mounted and priced individually.v To find out if the print you are interested in is available, please email Yana by clicking here.
Buying Cards
There are six flower cards available to buy in two Packs of 3: Pack A and Pack B (see images below). The cards are printed on heavy quality archival matte board. Please add £1.60 for postage and packing to your order. If you would like to order both packs, the postage and packing costs are the same.
